Bike Rent in Mumbai Per Day: Prices, Deposits and Documents

A daily rental quote only becomes useful when you know what it includes. Compare the advertised rate with the kilometre allowance, extra-distance fee, refundable deposit, fuel policy and pickup location. The figures below are current Vehicle On Rent listings, not a city-wide market average.

Current daily prices in our Juhu fleet

Scooters including the TVS NTORQ 125, Suzuki Avenis 125 and Suzuki Access 125 are currently listed at ₹600 per day with 100 km included and a ₹2,000 refundable deposit. The TVS Jupiter listing should be checked individually because availability and terms can change.

Royal Enfield motorcycles currently range from ₹1,300 to ₹2,300 per day. The Classic 350 and Hunter 350 suit city use and shorter highway rides; the Himalayan 450 costs more but offers a different riding position and long-ride capability.

  • Daily rate: charged according to the confirmed pickup and return window
  • Fuel: excluded unless your confirmation explicitly says otherwise
  • Extra kilometres: charged after the listing’s included allowance
  • Deposit: returned subject to the agreed return and condition checks

Documents and payment questions

Keep a valid driving licence for the correct vehicle class and government-issued identity proof ready. Ask which documents must be shown at pickup and whether a digital or physical copy is accepted for the rental process.

Before paying, request the exact vehicle, total rental amount, deposit, kilometre allowance, extra-km charge, cancellation terms and handover point in one written confirmation. This prevents a low headline price from becoming an unclear booking.

Estimate the real trip cost

For a 70 km Mumbai day on a ₹600 scooter with 100 km included, the base rental remains ₹600 plus fuel. For a 140 km plan, add 40 extra kilometres at the vehicle’s listed rate. The refundable deposit affects the money needed at pickup but is not a final cost when all return conditions are satisfied.

Choose the vehicle for the route rather than engine size alone. A scooter is usually simpler for local errands; a motorcycle may be more comfortable for a longer ride.
